Ende der 60er Jahre vollzog sich ein bedeutsamer Wandel in der Optik von Bettw\u00e4sche. Die lange Zeit pr\u00e4gende, klassische wei\u00dfe Aussteuerware wandelte sich zum Modeprodukt. Mit dem Anspruch, stilvolle Bettw\u00e4sche im Premium-Bereich zu entwerfen und herzustellen, gr\u00fcndeten Lutz Rehlaender und Dietrich Peperkorn 1971 das Unternehmen Elegante.
